Now is the time to truly start discovering the world. What better place to start than at Tutor Time? Our exclusive Tutor Time® LifeSmart™ curriculum was designed to encourage exploration and embrace all the different ways that children excel. Aligned with standards set forth by national accrediting associations, this curriculum helps children expand on their own unique gifts or “smarts.” And it works: a recent kindergarten readiness study showed that in just six months, children in our program made educational gains usually expected after a full year.
Meet Our Staff
Ms. Kecia
Ms. Kecia has 6 years experience as Lead Teacher working with Toddlers at TimberRidge Tots and Toddlers (ages 18 mo. - 2 yrs.) She was a Toddler Academic Coordinator working with educating teachers on the practices of adding learning experiences to the everyday lives of young children through story time, activity time, play, small group, and gross motor experiences. She teaches teachers to be facilitators and that every experience is a learning experience for young children. Ms. Kecia has obtained all the required credits for her CDA and has two years of college credits focusing on Early Childhood Education.
Ms. Becky
Ms. Becky is a native Floridian, born and raised in Bradenton. She has lived in Brandon for 20 years. She graduated from USF in 1987 with a degree in Education. She has her certification in CPR and First Aid and has obtained her CDS. She taught special education in Hillsborough County for six years. She was able to stay at home with her two daughters and just recently returned to teaching. She has discovered that she loves the preschool age.
